ABOUT
Human Nature is a philosophy and a practice rooted in the belief that meaningful growth happens when science, spirit, and responsibility are held together.
ABOUT
We exist to support intentional relationships with nature—particularly with mushrooms—through transparency, education, and thoughtful stewardship. Our work honors the long human relationship with fungi while applying modern standards of cultivation, testing, and care.
Rather than offering promises or prescriptions, Human Nature supports practices of presence, self-inquiry, and personal responsibility. We approach mushrooms not as commodities, but as whole organisms deserving of respect, restraint, and clarity.
HUMAN NATURE SANCTUARY (HNS)
OUR APPROACH
Human Nature Sanctuary (HNS) is the community-centered, nonprofit sanctuary expression of the Human Nature philosophy.
HNS exists to support sincere, grounded spiritual practice through intentional engagement with sacred sacrament, informed consent, and ethical stewardship. It provides a transparent container for reflection, healing, and personal growth—held with responsibility, reverence, and truth.
Within the sanctuary, participation is guided by care rather than consumption, and by relationship rather than transaction. HNS does not make promises or claims about outcomes. Instead, it creates the conditions for people to engage thoughtfully, safely, and on their own terms.
Human Nature is grounded in a commitment to doing this work carefully and honestly.
We focus on whole fruiting body mushrooms, vertically integrated production, and rigorous lab verification. By overseeing cultivation, harvesting, formulation, and testing, we ensure consistency, purity, and a clear understanding of potency—without relying on synthetics, isolates, or shortcuts.
Quality, transparency, and restraint guide every decision. Scale is never prioritized over integrity, and education is always valued over marketing.
FOUNDER’S
MESSAGE
Human Nature began as a small-scale cultivation project, shaped by my background in science and a personal search for clarity and connection.
My own relationship with psilocybin was not about escape or intensity, but about presence—learning how intentional, respectful engagement can create space for reflection, insight, and growth.
Human Nature and Human Nature Sanctuary were created to support that kind of relationship: one grounded in honesty, care, and responsibility. This work is about stewardship—of organisms, of information, and of community—so that people can engage with greater awareness and self-understanding, at their own pace.
